3-D Transistors
The move not only toextends the life of moores law but could help sighnificantly increases energy effciency and speed of processors. With 3-D transistors current-carrying channel has been flipped uprigh rising of surface of the chip. The new chips have 8.75 million and by 2017 about 30 million transistor per sqaure millimeter should be possible. This buys fewer generations.

1.What inferences/assumptions can be made about the future technology? The technology can save many babies in pore country but not if the dont have enough electric.
2.What surprised you the most? The it is built out of car parts.
3.What are the possibilities for the future in this area?
yes alot more babies alive and not dieing as fast.
4. Looking at the list from 2009, are there any technologies that were considered "emerging" back then that are now being used?
no i dont think they had them back then.
5. Give any other comments you have to offer? I think its cool that they are trying to help other babies in other countrys

Yes something like this would sell. You wouldnt be in as much traffic as you usually are you could fly. i thought it was pretty cool car/airplane.
